Loretta Pinnegar Morris, 86, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 11:15 a.m. Monday, December 25, 2023 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Rev. Hunter Hanson officiating. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Star Lime Works, KY she was born May 23, 1937 the daughter of the late Adolf Pinnegar and Melidene Mitchison Pinnegar Cansler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denver G. Morris of 65 years. She was a military wife for 23 years, homemaker: cooked, sewed, and crocheted.
She was also preceded in death by her six brothers and sisters: Clyde Cansler, Doug Cansler, Randall Cansler, Jean Haberlock, Susie Allsbrooks, and Patricia Lamson.
Survivors include her daughter: Lori Morris of Hopkinsville, KY; her grandson: Bryan Morris of Hopkinsville, KY; her brother: Benny (Jean) Pinnegar of Lyon County, KY; her sisters: Charlene Pendley of Florida and Vicky Newberry of Dawson Springs, KY.
