HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A man has been charged after firing gunshots at a gas station on Glass Avenue in Hopkinsville Thursday night.

The incident took place at Max Fuel on 1500 Glass Ave. when the suspect fired his gun at another person with the intent to cause harm, according to police reports. Hopkinsville police say his actions caused numerous bystanders to be in danger of either death or injury.

The suspect was also reported to be fighting and causing public annoyance. He was arrested and charged with first-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment, and second-degree disorderly conduct.
