HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The driver involved in a fatal wreck last year has been indicted by the Grand Jury for manslaughter in the second degree.
Adrian Tucker was killed in the crash on Dec. 23, 2023. The suspect’s vehicle hit Tucker’s car, pushing it off the roadway and into a tree on Bill Bryan Boulevard. Tucker was pronounced dead on the scene after being mechanically extricated from the car.
According to a news release from Hopkinsville Police Department, the suspect was traveling at speeds upwards of 90 mph in a 35 mph zone at the time of the wreck. The suspect was also injured in the wreck along with two passengers in the car. A police report after the accident said officers on the scene smelled marijuana coming from the car.
The Crime Suppression Unit served the indictment warrant for manslaughter on August 9.
