HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Emergency services responded to shots fired overnight on Sunday that left a man injured, with the Hopkinsville Police Department seeking the public’s assistance to locate the suspect.
Officers responded to Mason Pointe Apartments at approximately 12:45 a.m. on May 31 following reports of an individual that had been shot, according to HPD. Hopkinsville Fire/EMS treated an adult male in his early 30s who had been shot once in the lower abdominal, groin area. Payton Rogers with HFD says the man was stabilized and transported to a Nashville hospital via helicopter.
Hopkinsville-Christian County Crime Stoppers and HPD are attempting to locate Annia Williams in connection to the shooting, and a warrant has been issued for her arrest for assault in the first degree.
