OAK GROVE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Oak Grove Police Department is investigating after a man was shot early Sunday morning.
Information obtained by Christian County Now news partner Dash 10 Media reports that the man was shot at an apartment building on Mandarin Drive, with emergency crews responding just before 5 a.m. on Sept. 20. A 32-year-old man had walked up to a residence, knocked on the door and told them he had been shot an assaulted according to a spokesperson with Hopkinsville Fire/EMS.
First responders confirmed at least one gunshot wound and a head injury. The man was transported via helicopter to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee in serious but stable condition for treatment.
