On May 21 just before 10 a.m., officers received a call for shots fired in the area of East Second and Liberty Street. Officers and detectives responded and quickly located the victim, Jaleon Dyess, who suffered a gunshot wound to the neck, according to Hopkinsville Police spokesperson Officer Royale Marfil.
