HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A man with six active warrants including one for drug trafficking was arrested on South Main Street in Hopkinsville on Dec. 12.
According to a report from Christian County Sheriff’s Office, detectives with the Anti-Crime Unit spotted the suspect operating a vehicle near the farmers market in Hopkinsville around 3 p.m. The 48-year-old had six active warrants for his arrest from Christian, Muhlenberg, Caldwell and Hopkins counties. A traffic stop was then initiated by deputies.
Upon inspection, the vehicle was found to be without insurance, lacked registration, and had an improper license plate. A search of the vehicle uncovered a clear glass pipe, suspected meth, a large open bottle of whiskey, and other drug paraphernalia.
He was arrested and charged with no registration, failure to produce an insurance card, improper display of registration plates, trafficking meth, drug paraphernalia, and possession of an open alcohol container.
