Mary Ann Lancaster age 83 of Goodlettsville, TN and formerly of Pembroke, KY passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at her home. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Maddux-Fuqua Hinton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lancaster was born on June 23, 1941, in Fairview, KY, the daughter of the late Graham and Aubrey Wing Ezell. Mary was a beloved wife, mother, and Maw Maw. She invested her time and love raising her children, assisting on the farm, as well as cooking and caring for friends and family. She was a member of the Christian County Homemakers and attended Pembroke church of Christ. Over the years she worked for Kress 5 & 10, as a bookkeeper at Ideal Milk, and assisted in the cafeteria at Pembroke Elementary. She enjoyed seeing her community by serving at the voting polls. She also kept the books for Lancaster Farms and Lancaster Well drilling and drove grain trucks to the mill. Whatever her hand found to do, she did it well and for others.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Loyd Lancaster; her daughters Laura Harris (John) and Kristy Cope (Alan); her sister Peggy Ezell; five grandchildren Mark Harris (Kat Sella), Rachel Harris, Ezra Cope, Ember Cope, and Jayden Cope; a great-granddaughter Kensi Harris; three nieces Lisa Lancaster, Dana Long, and Nancy Downey; and two nephews Mike Lancaster and Todd Downey.
