HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – McAlister’s Deli in Hopkinsville held their grand opening on Oct. 14 with a ribbon cutting alongside a giveaway for the first 100 lucky customers. With a line wrapped around the building, customers started arriving as early as 4 a.m. ahead of the 10 a.m. ceremony, with most gathering before the sun rise to earn their free McAlister’s club sandwiches for a year.

CEO of Southern Rock Restaurants Max Piet said he and his team are excited to finally be in Hopkinsville. “It has taken us a while to get here, and we have been trying for a couple of years, but we finally found a location and we are excited about it,” said Piet.

With over 60 team members, Piet is sure that the renovated Pizza Hut building is ready to serve the community. “As you can tell the building looks totally different and as you can see from the turnout today, we are on track and ready,” he said.

Local residents can find the restaurant next to the Dairy Queen on 4576 Fort Campbell Blvd. The deli will serve a variety of fresh, made-to-order options including breakfast, snacks, spud bars, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. McAlister’s Deli Hopkinsville is open seven days a week from 10:30 am to 9 p.m.
