HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A Hopkinsville man was arrested after a search warrant yielded several narcotics, cash, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Following an extensive narcotics investigation, the Anti-Crime Unit with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on Jan. 8 at a residence on Fairview Drive in an attempt to locate 34-year-old Cleve Nedd of Hopkinsville. The suspect was located inside the residence, initially identifying himself as John Doe, according to an arrest report from CCSO.
Just over three ounces of synthetic marijuana (spice) was located along with eight grams of marijuana, and approximately four grams of meth and two grams of suspected fentanyl. CCSO says there were also 38 special handgun rounds including hollow point and round ball style target ammo. Several clear baggies and scales used for trafficking narcotics were also found along with large amounts of currency.
Nedd was transported to the Christian County Jail and charged with Trafficking 1st (Fentanyl), Trafficking in Synthetic Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Trafficking in Marijuana second or greater offense, Trafficking in Controlled Substance First Degree (Methamphetamine) and Possession of Controlled Substance First Degree (Drug Unspecified).
