Mildred Delaney Aldridge, 90, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 4:10 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Ball officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Christian County, KY she was born February 7, 1934 the daughter of the late Arnold Euclid Delaney and Birchie Johnson Delaney. She was retired from Christian Health Center. She was a charter member of Edgewood Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Darwin Eugene Aldridge; her brothers: Randolf Delaney, Eugene Delaney, and Albert Delaney; and her sister: Christine Lyon.
Survivors include her sons: Anthony Aldridge and Tim (Pam) Aldridge both of Hopkinsville, KY; her brother: Seth (Mary) Delaney of Christian County, KY; seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
