HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Two people were killed in a motorcycle accident on Russellville Road near Western State Hospital Sunday evening.
Around 5:30 p.m. on May 11, Hopkinsville Fire/EMS responded to the area for a motor vehicle accident involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle. According to a statement from EMS, the two individuals who were on the motorcycle were pronounced deceased shortly after their arrival.
The Christian County Coroner’s Office has identified the victims as 38-year-old Joshua Craig and his mother 56-year-old Shannon Craig. Both were Christian County residents.
The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
