HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident Monday afternoon after colliding with a pickup truck.

The truck was traveling westbound on East Ninth Street and was attempting to turn left onto Walnut Street. The motorcycle was driving eastbound on the same road when they were hit by the truck, according to a collision report from the Hopkinsville Police Department.

The driver of the truck stated that the light was green when they turned. There were two passengers on the motorcycle, the 68-year-old and 70-year-old riders were unable to give a statement on the scene due to injuries. They were transported to Jennie Stuart Health with non-life-threatening head injuries, according to Hopkinsville EMS.
