OAK GROVE, KY – On March 20 at approximately 7:16 p.m., officers with the Oak Grove Police Department encountered a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck at the intersection of Fort Campbell Boulevard and Segler Drive.

An investigation determined that 28-year-old Daniel Waller of Clarksville, Tennessee, was traveling south on Fort Campbell Boulevard on his motorcycle. Waller disregarded a red traffic light at the intersection of Fort Campbell Boulevard and Segler Drive and collided with another vehicle at this intersection.

Waller suffered serious injuries and was transported to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment.

Police had attempted to stop Waller earlier in the evening for reckless driving, but he fled onto I-24 and was lost in traffic. It is believed at this time that Waller was attempting to return to Clarksville after evading police earlier in the evening.

Waller is currently listed in critical but stable condition. This is an ongoing investigation, and no further information is available at this time
