HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Christian County Public Schools will host the Toyota Holiday Hoops tournament from Dec. 11-14, featuring elite girls and boys high school basketball teams from across the United States and Canada in Hopkinsville.

Fans will have the rare chance to watch some of the top recruited high school athletes in the country competing locally. Top players from Tennessee, Florida, California, Canada, and more will be participating, according to a news release from the CCPS. Games will be at Hopkinsville High School, located at 430 Koffman Drive.

Game day expectations

The premier event tips off Wednesday, Dec. 11 at noon, with four girls’ basketball teams facing off. Hopkinsville will take on Caldwell County at 5:30 p.m., followed by at Christian County facing Portland (Tenn.) at 7 p.m.

The first boys’ game of the tournament will be at 8:30 p.m., featuring Prolific Prep (Fla.) against Winston Salem Christian (N.C.). The remainder of the tournament will showcase other boys’ basketball teams from across the country.

Fans can either purchase tickets in advance on GoFan or at the door by card only. No cash ticket sales will be allowed at the door, according to the news release. Tickets are already on sale for $10 a session or $22 for the entire tournament.

All attendees must follow CCPS security procedures, including walking through the weapons detection system. No bags are allowed, and children in middle school and younger must be with an adult to attend.
