HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The City of Hopkinsville has revealed the design of their new, official marketing logo after collaborating with the community over what the city means to citizens. This project has undergone several phases of design, with continued input along the way as different drafts of the logo were presented through social media.
The process for designing the logo was kicked off back in August 2024 when the city sent out a community survey asking people to describe the personality of the city, what elements or symbols people equate with the city, and what cultural icons come into mind among other questions.

“We want to thank everyone who participated in this process, from offering feedback to casting your votes,” said Mayor Knight. “A special thanks goes to our design committee and local graphic designer for their dedication to creating a logo that represents the character and pride of Hopkinsville.”
A news release from the city explained that the project was guided by a local design committee made up of community representatives, alongside a talented local graphic designer commissioned to bring the vision to life. They utilized the feedback from the survey and the combined expertise of the committee to create the logo which they describe as a fresh, modern representation of Hopkinsville for marketing and branding purposes.
