Ms. Nina Jean Drake Kirby, age 70 of Hopkinsville, passed away on Thursday, November 28th at her home of natural causes.
Nina was born April 8, 1954 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky daughter of the late Robert and Gladys Drake. She worked at Elk Brand and Flynn Enterprise. She loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, drawing, sewing and watching TV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Drake and a sister, Martha K. Drake. She is survived by three sons, Thomas Draper, Marty Draper and Elvis Draper, Jr. (Becky) all of Hopkinsville; a daughter, Melissa Long of Hopkinsville; three sisters, Brenda Drake of Fruit Hill, Robin Drake of Kirkmansville and Debbie Warren of North Carolina; nine grandchildren, Josh Gilbert, Tommy Draper, Justin Draper (Charlene), Austin Draper, Taylor Brown (Justin), Alesha Draper, Shania Draper, Elivia Sikes (David) and Bethany Rager and nine great grandchildren, Bentlee, Jameson, Lilly, Trinity, Emma, Brantley, Matthew, Thomas and Elana.
The family has chosen cremation. There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date.
