OAK GROVE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Oak Grove Tourism received the State Traverse Award at the Annual Kentucky Travel Industry Conference earlier this month. The team won a bronze award in the destination management category for their Kentucky Bands, Bourbon, and Wine Festival that took place over the summer.
A news release says Traci Cunningham, Scarlett Mayfield, and Ryan Clark with the Oak Grove Tourism & Convention Commission accepted the award.
“It is very rewarding to see all the work, dedication, and passion my team puts in throughout the year be recognized in such a high honor,” said Traci Cunningham, Executive Director for Oak Grove Tourism & Convention Commission. “I believe winning as many awards as we have over the years really showcases our creativity and passion for providing top tier events and festivals to our wonderful city of Oak Grove. We continue to strive to better grow our community, I cannot wait to see the positive impacts our events and festivals continue to have on our community moving forward.”
