HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A drug investigation led law enforcement to large amounts of drugs, resulting in three arrests in Hopkinsville.

The Kentucky State Police and Hopkinsville Police Department executed a search warrant at the Woodland Heights apartment complex in Hopkinsville on Friday. The search yielded over 1,100 fentanyl pills, one ounce of cocaine, U.S. currency, and other drug paraphernalia, according to police reports.

One suspect was charged during a traffic stop for no registration plates, no registration receipt, DUI, and trafficking fentanyl, and the other two suspects were arrested and charged at the Woodland Apartments for trafficking fentanyl, possession of marijuana, and trafficking cocaine.

All subjects were transported to the Christian County Detention Center in Hopkinsville. The investigation is ongoing.
