HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Planned maintenance from the Tennessee Valley Authority will impact Pennyrile Electric users in Christian County this Sunday night.
The outage will mostly cover areas surrounding Fearsville, Crofton and a large area in the county as the TVA temporarily shuts down the Fruit Hill Substation. The estimated four-hour outage will begin at midnight heading into Sunday on Oct. 20. According to Pennyrile Electric, 2,669 members will be affected overnight during repairs.
Power is expected to be restored by 4 a.m. on Sunday, and residents can plan accordingly. Additional notification calls and texts will be sent out by the power company Thursday and Friday.
