HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Thursday night where several shots were fired into a home.

Late on Nov. 20, Hopkinsville Police received several calls about shots fired in the area of Younglove Street and Boyd Street. The calls for service reported that 15 shots had been fired.

When HPD arrived, they found damage from gunshots to a home on the 900 block, according to Officer Royale Marfil. No one was inside the residence when the shooting occurred, and the homeowners confirmed that the damage was new. There are currently so suspects and no arrests have been made at this time.

This is the second shooting in this area within a week. On Nov. 15 around 9 p.m., HPD was dispatched to the area of Lewis Street and Younglove Street in response to shots fired. A 23-year-old woman who resides in the area reported that her Nissan Versa was struck with gunfire. No arrest was made.
