HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A man and a woman were left stranded in the cold overnight following a car accident. They were discovered earlier Thursday morning near the intersection of Poole Mill and Dawson Springs Road in Christian County.
A statement from the Hopkinsville Fire Department states that a caller alerted authorities. Preliminary information indicates the wreck occurred overnight leaving the two victims exposed to the elements until help arrived.
Hopkinsville EMS is currently treating both adults for serious injuries, including severe orthopedic issues and hypothermia. Two helicopters are responding to the scene to transport them to a hospital.
