HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Pembroke is hosting their Christmas in the Park event for the ninth year in a row. The holiday event allows the community to see a Christmas tree lighting and have holiday fun.
The festivities will kick off at 6 p.m. on Dec. 5. During the event, there will be a reading of The Christmas Story, caroling, refreshments, and Santa himself will make an appearance. In the past, around 100 people in Pembroke showed up to celebrate.
This is free and open to the public at the park located at the corner of South Main Street and West Nashville Street. Activities will end around 7:30.
