HOPKINSVILLE, KY − Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, sizes are waiting to be adopted at the Christian County Animal Shelter. The shelter is at 2935 Russellville Road, and the phone number is 270-887-4175. Business hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and the shelter is closed for lunch from 12:30-1 p.m.

Meet Pumpkin! This handsome boy is a six-week-old orange and white domestic shorthair kitten, and he is currently looking for his forever home! Pumpkin was owner surrendered to the shelter because his family already had too many pets. This sweet boy will easily adapt to a home with cats, dogs, and kiddos, we also offer trial adoptions and meet and greets to ensure he finds his pawfect home. Pumpkin is litterbox trained, FIV/FLV/HW NEGATIVE, UTD on vaccinations, and is ready to be adopted today! Pumpkin’s adoption fee is $76 plus tax!
Meet Zelda! This pretty girl is a one-year-old Shepherd mix, and she is currently looking for her forever home! Zelda was owner released to the shelter because her family could no longer care for her. We do not know too much about this sweet girl such as how she does with cats or dogs, we do offer trial adoptions and meet and greets to ensure she is able to find her pawfect home! This sweet baby does great with kiddos though! We do not know if she is house or crate trained, but give her a chance and she’ll learn! Zelda is HW NEGATIVE, UTD on vaccinations, and is ready to be adopted today!
