Whisper is a lovely 1-year-old brindle and white Domestic Short Hair with a gentle personality and a sweetheart. She came to us as an owner release and is now looking for a loving family to give her the fresh start she deserves.
This sweet girl does well with kids and has a calm, affectionate nature that makes her a wonderful companion. Whisper is also doing well with the cat she came in with, which suggests she may enjoy having a feline friend around.
At this time, we’re not sure how Whisper does with dogs, and we do not know if she is house or litter box trained yet. With a little patience and love, she will likely settle in beautifully with her new family.

Chester is a 1-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who has already experienced more heartbreak than a young dog ever should. He was owner released and left at the shelter without much information about his past. For a dog who just wants love and a place to belong, that kind of loss can be incredibly confusing.
But even after everything he’s been through, Chester still greets people with a wagging tail and a goofy personality that can brighten anyone’s day. He hasn’t let his past take away his sweet spirit. All he wants is someone to notice him, give him a chance, and show him what a real forever home feels like.
We were not given information about whether Chester has been around kids, cats, or if he is house or crate trained. What we do know is that he does wonderful with the other dogs he has been around while in our care.
