HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Hopkinsville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Tyrone Cobb who was involved in a recent stabbing, and now has an active warrant for first-degree assault, according to Hopkinsville Police Department.

On Friday, June 21 just after 9:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Holiday Inn at 100 Tilley Way for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, one victim sustained serious physical injury with a stab wound to the bottom of his sternum along with lacerations across his face, said Officer Royale Marfil. The victim was life flighted to Skyline in Nashville.

Police identified a second victim with minor injuries. Through investigation, it was determined that three male subjects were in a physical altercation and Tyrone Cobb was identified by the victims and witnesses as the one with the knife. HPD says Cobb left the scene prior to police arrival in which an arrest warrant was issued for first-degree assault.
