HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – During the search of a home in Hopkinsville, police seized over 1 pound of fentanyl, along with a gun and large amounts of cash.
The Special Investigation Unit in Hopkinsville executed the search as part of a drug trafficking investigation, according to a report by the Hopkinsville Police Department.
At the residence on Younglove Street, police seized several thousands of dollars in cash, a gun with extended magazines, and over 1 pound of suspected fentanyl.
Several arrests are pending in this case, more information will be available as the investigation continues, according to police.
