HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – In an attempt to create a smoother drive along I-24 westbound in Christian County, The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be replacing patches of concrete along the interstate beginning May 16.
Between mile marker 88 and mile marker 86 westbound, traffic will be down to one lane, according to a news release form KYTC. The work zone will be active, and flaggers will be on site from 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. through May 23.
KYTC warns that delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment, and to use caution when driving through the work zone.
