HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Areas of downtown Hopkinsville will experience power outages Tuesday afternoon as HES works to replace a pole that was damaged during a car accident.
The car accident occurred on South Fowler Street, with one woman transported by Hopkinsville EMS to the hospital for minor injuries after hitting the utility pole.
According to HES, the outage will affect residential customers who are located north of West Seventh Street, and between North Drive and South Main Street.
In the outage map provided by HES, areas in the yellow area should have had power restored by 2:45 p.m., while the blue area should have power around 5 p.m.
