HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Showers and thunderstorms are expected to blow through Tuesday afternoon in Christian County.
The National Weather Service has a Hazardous Weather Outlook in place, stating that heavy rainfall is expected along with storms that are capable of producing damaging wind gusts and tornadoes. These storms are the remnants of Hurricane Beryl that are coming through from Texas.
Storms are expected to hit after 12 p.m. and may last until the evening. Wind gusts up to 23 mph are expected, with an 80% chance of precipitation.
