Mrs. Rosetta Pearl Swanz Myers, age 85 of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and formerly of Okeechobee, Florida, passed away on Saturday, December 2nd at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky of natural causes.
She was born June 24, 1938, in Allegre, Kentucky, the eldest daughter of the late Louis A. Tucker and Rose Martin Tucker Farmer.
Rosetta was a longtime resident of Florida living in West Palm Beach and Okeechobee for over 50 years and recently moving to Hopkinsville to be near family. She was a member of Okeechobee Church of God and attended Hopkinsville Foursquare Church in recent months.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Carter Farmer; her late husband of 30 years, George Swanz; a son, Daniel Forsyth; two grandchildren, Ruthann and Beau Noe and two sisters, Dazel Harris and Betty Meacham. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Eric Myers of Hopkinsville; four sons, William Noe (Joyce) of Florida, Lawrence Forsyth of Florida, Dale Forsyth of Buffalo, New York and Johnny Walker (Linda) of Grand Island, New York; a brother, George Tucker (Amy) of Linton, Indiana; a sister Anne Whitford (Kenneth) of Hopkinsville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a cousin, Rebecca Cannon of Allegre, Kentucky.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at a later date.
