HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Members of the Hopkinsville Rotary Club are prepping for their third annual Roast & Toast event on Saturday, Nov. 4. The event will be held at Casey Jones Distillery at 6 p.m. with live music, drinks and a whole hog barbecue meal.

Kelly Gates, the 74th Rotary Auction chair, says, “Folks that attend can expect a great meal and music with a lot of fun and fellowship all for a good cause.”

The money raised from the event will help fund the Rotary Auction coming up this spring, which will ultimately help fund the Rotary Foundation, and the Rotary Scholars Program.

Gates says, “Money raised from the Roast and Toast will help fund the Rotary Scholars Program, which offers local graduates the opportunity to attend Hopkinsville Community College tuition free for up to two years. Whether local graduates want to complete an associates degree and/or receive technical training – Rotary provides that funding.”

Hopkinsville Rotary teamed up with Bestway Ag to make this event possible. The distillery will be providing mocktails and cocktails, and the Ridgetop Ramblers will play bluegrass music. The event is open to the public, tickets cost $40 each. A full meal, dessert, and lemonade is included in the ticket price. Purchase tickets and find more information on the Rotary website.
