HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – As summer comes to a close, so will the Hopkinsville Farmers Market. The local market has been going on every week since April in historic downtown, and will end on Sept. 28.

Local vendors have been working hard all summer to provide artisan, and agricultural products to the community. Shoppers will find a wide variety of items sold, from fruits and vegetables, to canned goods and hand-crafted items. Even farm fresh eggs and game meat are available every week in the Founder’s Square parking lot.

With only a few Thursdays left to visit, there is still plenty of time to support the local businesses that participate. The market will continue through September, every Thursday from 4 p.m. through 7 p.m.
