Shayna “Sweet Barber Shay” McMillan was the daughter of Comonica Browder and Anthony Lamont McMillan. She was born on February 28, 1994, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Shayna’s Heavenly Father called her home to be at rest on October 6, 2024. Shayna accepted Christ as her savior at a young age. She received her primary and secondary education in Smyrna, Tennessee, and her cosmetology and barber license in Nashville, Tennessee. As of 2024, Shayna became a member of the Eastern Stars chapter 87. Shayna was a loving granddaughter, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend, and godmother. She enjoyed her passions of cutting hair, cooking, dancing, and singing. However, her biggest passion was her love for her family. T o say that she was a “great person” would be an understatement. She was compassionate, generous, reliable, fearless, selfless, and so much more. Shayna had a light that couldn’t be dimmed and a heart pure of gold. Shayna’s memory will forever be remembered and cherished by her beloved family members.
