Shirley Allen White, age 87, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Funeral Services will be 12:00 PM at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the service hour at 12:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Shirley was born in Fairview, KY on June 16, 1937, the daughter of the late Shirley Everett and Geneva Allen Moss Kirkman. She was the former Owner and Operator of Holiday Burgers and the primary caregiver for her son, Ricky Hunt. Shirley was a member at Southside Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert White, and her brothers, Freddie Kirkman and Brian Kirkman.
Survivors include her sons, Ricky Hunt of Hopkinsville, KY, Andy Pinkerton of Tennessee; her sister, Barbara Cavanah of Hopkinsville, KY; her granddaughter, Lara Abousakher; and her great granddaughter, Ansley Hunt.
