HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A vehicle was hit with several gunshots on Saturday, with the Hopkinsville Police Department attempting to locate suspects after multiple shootings in the area.

On Nov. 22 just after 3 p.m., Hopkinsville Police were called to the area of Younglove Street and Boyd Street. After clearing out from the area when the shots were heard, a local resident reported that their vehicle had been struck by gunfire. A total of six shell casings were found near the scene, resulting in around $1,000 worth of damage to the vehicle, according to HPD.

This is the third shooting in this area within the month, the most recent just two days prior on Nov. 20 where 15 shots were reportedly fired in that same area, damaging a residence. Earlier on Nov. 15 around 9 p.m., HPD was dispatched the area Younglove Street in response to shots fired at a vehicle.

No arrests have been made in relation to any of these incidents.
