HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A portion of Pembroke-Oak Grove Road in Christian County will be blocked for several days beginning early next week. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will have crews working to repair a sinkhole developing under the roadway.
The road will be blocked at the 8.1-mile marker, just north of Pruitt Lane, starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, March 31, according to a news release from KYTC. Work is scheduled to be completed by 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2.
There will be a marked detour advising motorists to use KY 109 and KY 1027 to avoid the closure.
