HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – With several inches of snow predicted, and a Winter Storm Warning in place for Christian County, hours for government buildings, offices, and schools may vary. Between four to six inches of snow is possible beginning Tuesday night. This will impact road conditions into Wednesday.

Here is a list of major closings, which will be updated throughout the day. To announce your closing, email news@christiancountynow.com.

Christian County Public Schools will be closed on Feb. 19, and students will report remotely. All activities and events for Tuesday evening have also been canceled. Wednesday will be NTI Day #4, students should complete the fourth day of their NTI assignments.

Inspire Early Learning Academy will be closed on Feb. 19 and all events and extracurricular activities for Wednesday have been canceled.

Christian County Senior Center and PACS will be closed on Feb. 19. Transportation will run life sustaining trips only. Hopkinsville City Transit and Intercity Transit will not run.

The Hopkinsville City Council meeting has been cancelled and rescheduled for Feb. 20 at 5 p.m. before the regularly schedule Committee of the Whole meeting at 6 p.m.

Hopkinsville Community College will be closing at 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 18. All campuses will operate remotely on Wednesday Feb. 19.

The Hopkinsville- Christian County Public Library will close at 3 p.m. on Feb. 18. Epic Hour is canceled for the day, and materials may be returned to the HCCPL Drop Box located just outside the building on Bethel St.

Planters Bank-Jennie Stuart Health Sportsplex Hopkinsville is closing at 4 p.m. on Feb. 18.
