HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The low on Sunday night is expected to drop to seven degrees, with wind chill values as low as zero.

Snow flurries are possible after 5 p.m. on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service in Paducah. Wind gusts will pick up to 18 mph overnight, with a 30% chance of snow showers Sunday morning. Temperatures will only rise 26 degrees.

“These snow showers will produce a dusting up to half an inch of snow, with the higher totals over western Kentucky,” said the NWS, “While widespread travel impacts are not expected, isolated slippery spots on the roads cannot be ruled out in western Kentucky Sunday morning. Bitterly cold temperatures and wind chill values are expected Sunday through Tuesday.”
