OAK GROVE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The U.S. Department of Defense plans to block Stateline Road near Fort Campbell Boulevard next week to upgrade a railroad crossing.
The crossing, located at the 0.55 mile point near Walton Road, will be blocked from Monday, June 2, through Monday, June 16, to allow a DoD contractor to replace the crossing, according to a news release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. New signaling equipment will be installed during this process.
Stateline Road will remain open on both sides of the crossing, and local traffic on either side will still be able to use the roadway.
