HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – On-Street parking on South Virginia Street and South Main Street in downtown Hopkinsville will be restricted later this week, as part of the KY-107 paving project.
On-street parking on South Virginia Street will be unavailable Thursday, Oct. 31 and Friday, Nov. 1. Meanwhile, parking spots on South Main Street will be blocked on Friday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, Nov. 2. Message boards are being installed on Oct. 30 on South Virginia to notify motorists of these restrictions.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, this project will pave around four miles of KY 107, including parts of Lafayette Road, in addition to South Virginia Street and South Main Street between the 15.7- and 18.8-mile points.
