HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – As the day goes on, a strong to severe storm is possible with gusty winds being the main threat in Christian County Wednesday afternoon.
“Showers and storms will prevail through much of the day before ending from the west this evening,” said the National Weather Service of Paducah.
Expect showers mainly after 3 p.m. with a 80% chance of precipitation. Thunderstorms are likely tonight, and some may be strong to severe with damaging wind, according to NWS.
Drier air will arrive for Thursday before the hot and humid weather returns Friday into the weekend. Scattered storms will also return for Saturday and Sunday with heat the index rising to around 105.
