HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Bruce in Hopkinsville was filled with students during the Christian County Public School’s Career Expo on Jan. 29. CCPS arranged over 70 local vendors from all over the county to supply hands on demonstrations to allow students to explore their career interests.

Ninth graders from Hopkinsville and Christian County High School attended for the second annual event, giving them the opportunity to be introduced to various careers in their first year of high school.

Students explored various career fields by wandering through different colored zones, each showcasing professions like law enforcement, medical services, fashion, real estate, and more. Excited and curious, they got a hands-on experience exploring different vehicles, handling equipment, and watching mini demonstrations of the profession.
