  • Where: Founders Square, 1 Public Square.
  • When: Thursday’s through October at 7 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Enjoy local vendors, and fresh produce at Hopkinsville’s downtown market!

Sept. 14

Hoptoberfest 2024: Beards, Brawn and Brains!

  • Where: Hopkinsville Brewing Co., 102 East 5 Street.
  • When: Saturday, Sept. 14 at from 12-10 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Join Hopkinsville Brewing Co., for their 8th annual Hoptobefest featuring a beard and stein competition, an adult spelling bee and more! There will be food and drinks on site.

Sept. 20

Hoptown Idol

  • Where: Founders Square, 110 West 9 Street.
  • When: Friday, Sept. 20 at 6 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Come show off your talent in front of a live audience or enjoy the show from the crowd!

Sept. 21-22

Oak Grove 50th anniversary celebration

  • Where: Various locations throughout Oak Grove, Ky.
  • When: Saturday, Sept. 21-22 beginning with bus tour at 10 a.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Join the City of Oak Grove in a weekend celebration for their 50th anniversary. There will be a historical bus tour, a time capsule burial and a community wide picnic.

37th Annual Pennyrile Senior Games

  • Where: Planters Bank-Jennie Stuart Health Sportsplex, 155 Tilley Way.
  • When: Monday, Sept. 23-25
  • Cost: $7
  • Details: Join Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation in their 37th annual Pennyrile Senior Games. Citizens 50 years and older can participate in a variety of games including bowling, cornhole, one-mile walk, frisbee, and so much more.

Sept. 29

2024 Auto Wars

  • Where: 303 Conference Center Drive.
  • When: Sunday, Sept. 29 from 1-5 p.m.
  • Cost: $30 vehicle fee.
  • Details: Red, White, and Ride 2024 Auto Wars hosted by Patriot Chevrolet of Hopkinsville. Car show with proceeds benefiting partnership with the Fort Campbell USO!
