HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Dozens of teams competed in the hot sun for Hoptown Ninja Warrior on Sept. 30. There was a father-son, and team competition along with an open course. People who purchased tickets directly helped raise money for the non-profit Joy Closet in Hopkinsville.
A Ninja Warrior style course was set up at the Stadium of Champions, where teams had to get through obstacles as fast as they could.
Heather Gray, the founder and Executive Director of Joy Closet said, “We’ve grown exponentially, so we try and do family-fun things in the community about four times a year. This is the first time we’ve done it and have numerous food trucks and vendors out here supporting us.”
The overall winner with the fastest time for the team competition was Chief Jason Newby and the Hopkinsville Police Department.
