HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A special graduation ceremony was held at Challenge House #7 Friday night as teens completed the annual AT&T program.

The Attitude, Training, and Teamwork summer program allows high school teens to learn about different career paths and job shadow. On July 19, they were given their graduation certificates, a $200 paycheck for their hard work.  As a surprise, representatives from the AT&T company gifted each of them a laptop and backpack with school supplies.

“We are so proud of you and your successful completion of the program and look forward to celebration your future success in the years to come,” said Amanda Lich, the regional director of external affairs for AT&T Kentucky.

State Rep Walker Thomas also showed his support for the group and expressed his excitement toward their completion of the program. Each teen was required to have 16 boot camp and job shadowing, ranging from engineering to food service, childcare, entrepreneurship, and more.
