HOPKINSVILLE, KY – Christian County Public Schools has released details for the upcoming “Final Game” between the Hopkinsville High School Tigers and the Christian County High School Colonels. The highly anticipated matchup will take place on Friday, Oct. 24, at the Stadium of Champions with kickoff at 7:30 p.m.

Schedule of Events leading up to kick-off include:

  • 5 p.m. Gates open; alumni tailgate begins.
  • 5:45 p.m. Hopkinsville High School band performs.
  • 6 p.m. Christian County High School band performs.
  • 7 p.m. Christian County High School Senior Night.
  • 7:15 p.m. Presentation of colors and national anthem.
  • 7:25 p.m. Coin flip with captains and honorary captains.
  • 7:30 p.m. Kickoff.

Halftime entertainment will feature the CCHS Dance Team and the CCHS/HHS Kicking Competition. Following the game, the coveted “Bragging Rights” Trophy, sponsored by White’s Automall, will be presented to the winning team.

Christian County High School will serve as the home team and occupy the home stands. Hopkinsville High School fans will sit on the visitor side. Fans are asked to enter on the side of the stadium representing the team they are supporting, as the track will not be open for cross traffic.

All spectators will pass through the district’s weapons detection system, and as a reminder, the no-bag policy remains in effect for all CCPS athletic events. Elementary and middle school students will only be admitted with an adult. No adult, no entry and a parent/guardian will be called to pick up the student.

Alumni Activities

Each school is organizing its own alumni events. A special section for alumni will be designated at the far end of the track nearest visitor parking.
