HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Christian County Public Schools has announced 2nd District Board member Tiffany Mumford-Brame has resigned her seat on the Board of Education. Mumford-Brame was elected in 2020 to represent District 2, which includes the southeast side of Christian County including Pembroke and Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary Schools.

“We appreciate Ms. Mumford-Brame’s service and dedication to Christian County Schools,” said CCPS Board Chair Tom Bell. “It has been a pleasure to serve on the Board with her. She has a genuine passion for education and for our community. The board wishes Ms. Mumford-Brame all the best in her next endeavor.”

The pending resignation will be voted on to be accepted at the next board meeting on Oct. 19. Per board policy, the vacancy will then be advertised for two weeks. Interested applicants should complete the application and submit a letter of intent to the Board of Education affirming they meet all eligibility requirements to fill the vacancy.
