HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – On Valentines Day, the historic Alhambra Theater will be hosting a romantic night with live music in downtown Hopkinsville. The Alfreda Sings Tina performance will be a high-energy tribute honoring the music of Tina Turner.

Alfreda Payne will take the stage to deliver renditions of some of Turner’s most beloved hits, including What’s Love Got to Do With It and Proud Mary. The Pennyroyal Arts Council says Alfreda is known for her commanding stage presence and dynamic vocals, capturing the spirit, emotion and electrifying performance style that helped make Turner a global music legend.

Last year, Payne came through Hopkinsville in February to perform a tribute to Aretha Franklin. This year’s show offers the community a unique Valentine’s Day experience, appealing to both couples celebrating the holiday and music lovers looking to enjoy an evening of classic hits.

Alfreda Sings Tina will be on Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. and will run for around 90 minutes. Standard tickets are $50 each, student tickets are $35. Seats can be reserved on the Pennyroyal Arts Council website.
