HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – After four years of coaching Christian County boys’ basketball, head coach Toby Miles has stepped down from his position, which he said was not an easy decision.
“This was one of the toughest decisions I have ever made,” Miles said. “The time has come for me to be more involved in an administrative role at Christian County High School. This decision also allows for me to spend more time with my family… I was thankful to for the time I had to serve as head coach at CCHS.”
Miles proceeded to thank the Christian County boys’ basketball community for the sacrifices they made during his tenure, and for the support over the years.
“I am very thankful for the work and dedication that Coach Miles has shown to our basketball program,” said CCHS Principal Kevin Crider. “Coach Miles is an outstanding individual that is going to continue to have a great impact on the students and staff in our district. I look forward to continuing to work with Coach Miles in his role as assistant principal.”
Christian County High School will now begin a comprehensive search for the new boys’ basketball coach in the coming weeks.
